VICTORIA, Texas – The Justin Marr, the sheriff of Victoria County, stated that his deputies responded to two occurrences today during a press conference that was organized by the Victoria Independent School District. At West High School, one of the events took place.
In his statement, Sheriff Marr did not provide any additional information, but he did mention that a pupil who was 14 years old was taken to the hospital and is anticipated to make a full recovery.
In addition, he stated that a juvenile of 15 years old is currently being held in custody.
Assault was the term that the sheriff used to characterize the incident. A reporter for 25 News Now named Trenton Whiting inquired to Sheriff Marr about whether or not the event involved a stabbing, and Sheriff Marr acknowledged that it was a stabbing.
Additionally, Sheriff Marr stated that his deputies are investigating another incident that occurred at East High School.
It was reported by the authorities that they have conducted investigations and made twelve arrests in a span of six weeks including threats or fake stories. It is equivalent to two instances per week.
According to Sheriff Marr, if things continue at this rate, the district will have one hundred by the end of the year.
