If you are retired and get Social Security, you may be able to get an extra check from the US Administration. A lot of people in the United States are eligible for an extra check from the Administration, but they do not know it.

To get the extra Social Security payment, you need to meet two main conditions. The government will not send this check to our bank account every month if we do not meet both conditions. In that case, pay attention to these rules:
- Low monthly income. Also have low resources in general.

When does the extra Social Security arrive?
This SSI payment is sent by the Social Security Administration on or around the first of every month. People who live in the United States and are entitled to this check every month can get it the same day it is sent by setting up Direct Deposit.
The payment will still come through, even if this way of collection is not turned on. It will just be a few days later.
If the first of the month falls on a holiday or weekend, the Social Security Administration sends the check the next work day. One thing that is certain is that we will get 12 checks a year from this benefit if we accept it.
