It is said that a high school director in Oklahoma got drunk at a school dance and touched teenage girls inappropriately. He has since lost his job and is now facing criminal charges.
Replogle was caught while watching the fall dance at the Tulsa Renaissance Convention Centre on September 28 for Bixby High School.
At least a few students and parents told the school administrators that he smelled like alcohol and was touching kids on the dance floor.
In a message to parents, Superintendent Rob Miller talked about what happened and said that Replogle is no longer working for Bixby Schools.
“I find it upsetting that any child in Bixby Schools would feel unsafe or uneasy around any BPS worker, let alone a leader.”
If this incident has hurt anyone, Miller wrote in the letter that “I apologise and want to reassure you that we are committed to regaining any trust that has been damaged.” KJRH shared the letter.
“Mr. Replogle will no longer be employed by Bixby schools,” Miller said. “We will work diligently to restore and strengthen the positive culture we have at our schools.”
A statement with changes and “relevant information” was read to all students at the high school, and Miller said that there were more counsellors on hand.
The Tulsa Police Department is still looking into what happened.
He has to go back to court in November.
