A lot of people in the United States depend on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
These programs work all over the country, but each state has its own rules about how they should be reported and when they should be given out.
But it is important to know the exact date that people who get food stamps need to re certify their eligibility. This is because it lets them keep their eligibility over time.
There are already dates set in Texas for when SNAP recipients can get their money. But they need to be careful if they get a notice that their benefits are ending. This is because they need to follow certain steps to get re-certified so they do not lose their food stamps.
When to Re certify my SNAP benefits?
Each state sets its own requirements for re certification, but in most cases it needs to be done within 10 days of the benefits ending.
The time a household is certified for varies by state. For example, in California, most households are certified for 12 months, but some that have elderly or disabled people may be certified for 24 months.

Some things are different in Texas as well, so you need to know when your benefits end in order to get re certified. In the Message Center of your online account Your Texas Benefits, you can set up an alert to let you know when your renewal is due.
Besides that, you can look at your case online and find out the exact date you need to start the process. Once the due date has passed, you will see an alert in the “Manage” section that says “Ready for renewal.”
You will also see the message “Ready for renewal” in the “My Tasks” list. If you do what it says, you should be able to renew your benefits without any problems.
