If they win, it will change the season; they want to beat their former head coach. The Wolf Pack still has to go on the road to play Boise State and UNLV. They also have to play Air Force as part of their 13-game season.

The Rams have found their groove. Do not look now, but it is still unbeaten in Mountain West play and has won three straight games.

After this, it only has to beat Wyoming, Fresno State, and Utah State to be in the running for the Mountain West title. It does not have to play UNLV or Boise State.

Colorado State is getting it done with takeaways.

The offense hasn’t been anything special, but the defense is holding up well enough with a lot of big plays to overcome the yards allowed.

The Rams have taken the ball away ten times in the last three games, but Nevada doesn’t have enough of a turnover problem to feed into it.

This is the game for the Colorado State running game that should average over five yards per carry and get to 200 yards, but in a huge game for the program, Nevada will come up with a bit extra with the offense to pull this off. The Pack ground game will take over in the final ten minutes.
