It is hard to figure out bowl projections. Everything changes when you move one important piece.
We think that the ACC and Big 12 will each get just one team into the expanded College Football Playoff. This is because of all the upsets last Saturday.
However, one of those two conferences should get two teams in, but for now we are calling for more Big 12 upsets and, on the other hand, Miami to rip through the ACC.
Is that fair to SMU, Clemson, Iowa State, or BYU? As of right now, BYU is unbeaten, but we think it will lose twice, with the second loss coming in the Big 12 Championship.
Even though everyone is talking about the new CFP, you can still go to fun bowl games.
