Twenty-year-old man was charged with murder, manslaughter, and having a firearm while having it on them after a 22-year-old man was shot and killed in Waterville.
Murder and Manslaughter Charges
Friday, it was announced that Tyler Quirion, of Waterville, was charged with killing Justin Iraola on Grove Street on February 19, 2024.
Murder Investigation
It took a long investigation by the Waterville Police Department and the Maine State Police Major Crimes to catch him.
Death Ruled Homicide
Multiple bullet wounds ultimately proved fatal for Iraola. After an autopsy, the Chief Medical Examiner determined that his death was the result of a homicide.
Transported to Jail and No Bail
The Kennebec County Jail was the location where Quirion was brought, and he was not allowed to post bail.
