A Michigan man scored a $148,443 prize from the Michigan Lottery after previously winning $29,048 from the same game in 2015.
Marc Finkbiner, 66, from Portland, told the Michigan Lottery that when he bought a Club Keno The Jack at Hot Shots Tavern on Kent Street in Portland, he chose the “easy pick” option.
He got eight of the twenty numbers right, which won him $148,443.
“I was at Hot Shots Tavern with my wife playing Club Keno, and I won $3 on one ticket, so I reinvested my winnings and purchased another one,” he said.
“I watched the drawings and saw that all eight of my The Jack numbers came up. When the jackpot went back up to $10,000, I knew I had won!” My wife was shocked when I showed her the ticket and told her I had just won $148,443!”
Finkbiner has now won two big prizes in the game.
“I am so happy that I won again! I won a $29,048 Club Keno The Jack prize in 2015. “I have won twice already, but I am going to keep playing because I think I have more big wins in store,” he said.
The winner said he would save the money he won.
He said, “Winning this prize brings me one step closer to retirement.”
