Isaiah Rivers is now being charged with more serious crimes. News 11 told you last month that Rivers was arrested on the Tranquil Trail for reportedly assaulting a woman and recording other people in Frick Park.
“It scares and hurts me to think that we might not be safe in this lovely community park,” Elizabeth Kreitler said.
On September 22, a woman told police that a guy came up behind her, pulled up her dress, and touched her inappropriately.
A different woman said she saw a man touching himself on a park bench while filming it. Some women who love this park said they found this interesting.
“This kind of thing has never happened here before,” “It is very scary,” Kreitler said.
New charges were just brought against the man. The victim told police that he touched her inappropriately while filming her while she was walking on the Braddock Trail the same day. There is a school right next to the track.
“It is right there.” Nick Wehner said, “That is scary that kids are always playing on the playground right next to the trail.”
Cops said they found Rivers’ phone with the video of what happened and proof of several other victims who were on the Falls Ravine walk. Some people who go to Frick Park a lot are scared about this.
“That is definitely worrying.” “When I walk through these woods, I will definitely keep my eyes open,” Wehner said.
If you know anything about this case or think Rivers has hurt someone, please call the Pittsburgh Police Zone 4 station.
