The Levy County Sheriff’s Office reported a search is underway for two 16-year-old females who went missing while paddle boarding on Cedar Key on March 17.
According to the LCSO, the youths did not return from a paddleboarding outing at Cedar Key on Monday. They were last spotted at 4 p.m. on March 17 while kayaking from Atsena Otie to Cedar Key.
The girls were sharing a black and white paddleboard. The LCSO Marine Unit, FWC, and Coast Guard are looking for water and air.
“I’m not a drag on the system.”
A woman stated that she hasn’t been able to shower or get out of bed since a car accident left her paralyzed from the chest down, and Medicaid refused claims for the medical equipment she requires.
