After a 3-0 start, Army will try to keep up its good form in the American Athletic Conference season, which will continue through October.

You know what to expect from Army, but Temple has finally woken up, which should make this a bit of a fight.

The Owls lost to Navy a few weeks ago because they could not stop the run. But they played well in a 45-29 win over Utah State after going 0-3 to start the season.

They need to win this one because three of their next four games are away from home.

Why Army Will Win

Temple, can you stop the run? Almost.

The Owls have some issues, but their run defense has not been terrible generally. The 38–11 win, though, came from Navy running 51 times for almost 300 yards and scores. This team still has not been able to stop anyone.

Army does things that are Army. Because it is so good on third downs, it is No. 2 in the country in time of possession, just behind Oregon State. It does not turn the ball over.

Army is strong, but their style does not allow for many stops for loss, and Temple’s front line does not do much to get into the backfield.

Why Temple Will Win

Things will go well as long as Temple does not lose the ball a lot.

The Owls beat Utah State and got their first win of the season. They ran the ball the best they had all season and threw the second best. The middle passing attack worked, but the most important thing is to not make any mistakes.

It was turned over six times against Oklahoma, three times against Navy, twice against Coastal Carolina, and not at all in the win.

Army is pretty good at causing turnovers, but it does not put a lot of pressure on the other team, does not make many tackles for loss, and

Army will have the ball for more than 35 minutes, but Temple needs to figure out how to bend a lot without breaking. Getting that Owl defense off the field will be hard.
