After beating Clemson, Louisville is kind of in the running for the ACC Championship. But Miami would have to lose two more games or SMU would have to lose its last three ACC games for Louisville to really be in the running.
But the Cardinals can get into the best ACC bowl game and finish strong with games at Pitt and Kentucky. It should be interesting to go to Stanford after having two weeks off after beating Clemson.
It is been weeks since the Cardinal should have come up with something great, but they aren’t. Stanford has lost six straight games since shocking Syracuse.
There was a time when they were 1-0 in the ACC, and they still have games against Cal and San Jose State coming up.

Whatever it is that Louisville is doing well on offense, keep doing it.
San Diego State’s defense is terrible. It has given up three touchdowns in each of the last four games and can not stop the run. It is going to have a long day.
But Louisville’s run defense has been mowed down. In two of the last three games, they have given up more than 200 yards.
It will not matter that the Cardinals have some trouble on defense. The crime will carry out its plans.
