There is not a war between Alabama and Auburn or Michigan and Ohio State, but there is a war between Wyoming and Colorado. This season, it means a lot for the winner.
Wyoming has not really changed since Craig Bohl retired as head coach, but even though they are 2-7, they are still fighting.
They are playing a lot of close games, and they just barely beat New Mexico a few weeks ago. After this, the team gets to play the fun part of being the spoiler against Boise State and Washington State.
Colorado State has been winning in a very quiet way. The Rams have won four games in a row and are still unbeaten in Mountain West play, even though Boise State is the favorite.
Fresno State and Utah State are the last two games. If they win two of them, they will be in the Mountain West title game.

Wyoming’s defense is terrible.
It can not put any pressure on the backfield, the front is getting smashed, and the offense is not consistently doing anything to make up for it. The running game is working fine, but the passing attack is not working at all.
