At this point in the season, resumes do matter, and we always take the results seriously.
We do the rankings that way for the first month, though, because there are too many variables to make that a completely clean way to do them. For example, the SEC is a mess.
We have seen enough, though.
We know a lot about almost everyone, and as of mid-November, we are no longer likely to be wrong. Because you have not played anyone that good, it is hard to respect the record the way it should be respected.
It is coming.
Ohio State is coming to Indiana this week. Army goes up against Notre Dame. Texas will finally get another chance to play a top team in two weeks when it plays Texas A&M.
