When you collect coins, some are worth a lot more than their face value. This is usually because they are old and have a lot of history behind them.
On the other hand, you can get a lot of money for pieces that have not been used in years. The “America the Beautiful” quarter is one of them.
America the Beautiful Quarters were made by the U.S. Mint from 2010 to 2021. There were 56 of them.
The goal was to honor national parks and other important sites in every U.S. state, territory, and the District of Columbia, as well as in Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
Five coins were to be released each year. On the back, there is a picture of a national park or other national site for each U.S. state, territory, and the District of Columbia.
