Police say that a former worker in Boardman, Ohio, urinated on $400 worth of potting mix, which caused the shop to lose the money.
Around 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, Boardman police were called to the Walmart at 1300 Doral Drive because someone said that a former employee was peeing on items for sale outside the store.
According to reports, the suspect was still in the area when police came. He told them that he had been drinking earlier in the day and then urinated behind a pallet of potting mix.
The store’s security video shows the suspect drinking alcohol outside the store, and it also shows him destroying the potting mix.
A store worker told cops that the whole pallet would have to be thrown away, which would mean losing a total of 72 bags of potting mix worth $401.01.
Several news sources say that the store asked that the former employee be charged with illegal trespassing from the business.
No one’s name was given out about the worker.
