Fall has finally arrived, and Halloween is coming up quickly. This means that Spooky Season is now in full swing.
And what better way to get into the spirit of things than to read a lot of ghost stories, urban legends, and other stories about scary things that happen at night?
Thrillist made a list of every state’s “most haunted place.” They found scary places like “old state hospitals, murder sites, homes with talking dolls, and hotels [that] are so disturbing, they have been the setting for some of the most famous horror movies.”
The list says that Atlanta’s Oakland Cemetery, which was built in 1850 and is said to be the city’s oldest and biggest cemetery, is the most haunted place in Georgia. People have said they have seen the ghosts of Confederate soldiers still walking around.
