The Tigers are about to lose the season because they have three straight road games. Their next two games are at Missouri and Kentucky, and their last game is at Alabama.

Georgia needs to get back to normal quickly after the crazy game against Alabama. Before its home game against Tennessee, it has to go on the road to play Texas and Ole Miss. There is no time to fail here.

Ten of the last eleven games in the series that began in 1902 have been won by Georgia. At the end of the season, Georgia won 12–5.

Why Auburn Will Win

It is possible that Georgia is not as strong as we all thought.

The fight with Kentucky could have been a sign of a bigger problem. The first half against Alabama might have been more like the real team than the surge in the second half. Auburn might have been due for a big win for a long time now.

The passing game has not been bad for Auburn, even though they have a lot of problems. Putting Hank Brown in for Payton Thorne did not work, but with Thorne back at quarterback, the offense threw for 338 yards and three touchdowns.

Why Georgia Will Win

Okay, those are the problems Auburn has. This is how the game is played, not how the clock is run. That means the attack is working and the defenders are being pushed back.

It seems more like the O is fizzling out faster than the D can get off the field. That is not the main issue, though.

Only one turnover was made against Oklahoma, but Auburn is -11 in turnovers so far and can not seem to get past their mistakes. Only four turnovers have been made by Georgia so far, but the Tigers will not need much to slow down.

Forget for a moment about how well the Georgia offense came back; the defense really came through in the second half until Ryan Williams called in sick.

Again, Auburn has not been completely awful, but they are about to have a tough time against a defense that will build on the good things they did against Alabama.

This Georgia team is not the type to pout. It will be worked hard to get over last week quickly with two early scoring drives to take charge right away.
