Freezing temperatures
South Carolina will see below-average temperatures leading up to the probable snowfall, which may aid in snow and ice formation in some areas of the state.
From Tuesday to Thursday, the Midlands should have highs in the high 40s and lows in the low 20s.
The NWS anticipates much colder conditions in the Lowcountry, with highs in the mid-to-low 40s and lows in the low 20s.
