People who get SSDI payments will still be able to get them after September. People who get SSI, on the other hand, won’t get their money from the Federal government until next month.
On September 25, which is the last payday of the month, SSDI checks and direct payments will be sent out. You have to meet all the standards to get it, and one of them is not getting SSI.
SSDI eligibility for the next payment date in September
If you want to get money on September 25, you must have been born between September 21 and September 31. It doesn’t really matter what month you were born as long as you applied for Social Security and were approved.
On April 25, only people whose disability benefits began after April 30, 1997, will be able to get SSDI payouts. Don’t expect to get paid again until May 1997 if you got Social Security Disability Insurance before then.
If this sounds like you, your next payment will be sent on October 3. On October 3, you will also get your next paycheck if you get both SSI and Disability Insurance. SSI checks won’t be sent out until October 1. On November 1, 2024, there will be a new one after this one.
SSDI and SSI payment amounts in September and October
It will depend on a lot of things how much your SSDI check or direct payment is. Each person doesn’t get the same amount. In other words, the longer you worked, the more you were paid, and the later you filed, the more money you will get.
A person who gets SSDI can actually get a payment of up to $3,822. Disability users get about $1,539 a month on average. Both the average and highest amounts of SSI payments are a lot less.
Say you get the biggest SSI check. If you are married and both qualified, you can get up to $1,415 more. Each person can only get $943. Everyone who gets SSI gets an average of $698 a month.
