LINCOLN, Nebraska — A Lincoln man was sentenced to 19 years and seven months in prison on Wednesday after picking up a package containing nearly four pounds of meth in Omaha.
Mitchell Bostic, 41, was sentenced in federal court by US District Judge Brian Buescher for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
There is no parole in the federal system. After his release from prison, Bostic will begin a five-year period of supervised release.
On December 5, 2023, law enforcement intercepted a package containing nearly four pounds of meth in Nebraska.
The next day, authorities made a controlled delivery of the package, which Bostic and Stephanie Cummings picked up at a home in Omaha. They then drove off in Bostic’s vehicle.
