At least three $1 million prizes were won in scratch ticket games on Monday.
A winner was found at Quality Fuel & Mart in Springfield. The ticket was from the “$1,000,000 Ultimate 7” scratch ticket game. This was the first $1 million prize won in the game.
The “$2,500,000 Merry & Bright” scratch ticket game, which came out on Oct. 15, had another $1 million prize. This is the first $1 million prize to be won. Each ticket costs $10 to play. The lucky ticket was bought at an Abington Sunoco gas station.
Another winner of a $100,000 prize was a “Diamond Deluxe” scratch ticket bought at a Speedway in Tewksbury.
Three people also won a total of $100,000 in the “Mass Cash” drawing on Monday. These were the numbers that won the drawing: 3, 5, 9, 17, and 19.
The tickets that won and matched all five numbers were bought at these places:
- East Ashland Liquors in Brockton
- The Corner Store in Everett
- Richdale in Amesbury
On Monday, at least 670 gifts worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts. Thirteen of these were in Springfield, thirty were in Worcester, and sixty were in Boston.
Every day, the Massachusetts State Lottery gives out a full list of all the winning tickets. There are only winning tickets worth more than $600 on the list.
Massachusetts has had one big lottery win so far this year. The winner got $1 million a year for life.
It was a prize from the “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket game. The winner chose to get a one-time payment of $15.4 million when they received their prize through a trust on July 10.
