Alaska just recently announced a new aid check payment to help Alaskan families with their money.
About 60,000 Alaskans will receive this payment, which will help them out financially as the year 2024 comes to a close.

PFD releases stimulus checks to residents
During the month of October, the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) has been sending stimulus checks to residents who are qualified. The first payment was due on October 3, 2024.
It is possible that you did not get your payment. The next payment date is October 24, 2024. The PFD fund is an annual payment set up by the Alaskan government so that people can get stimulus payments based on the state’s mineral income.
The payment that was sent to people last year was $1,312. This year, people will get a bigger payment; they will get $1,704 instead of $1,702.
The extra Energy Relief payment is worth $298.17, and the PDF payment is $1,403. This will bring the total amount those living there pay to $1,704. Almost everyone who lives in Alaska will be able to get the payment, with a few exceptions.
Minimum eligibility criteria
The PDF payment is meant to help all Alaskans, so there are not many requirements to be eligible. This is different from other stimulus checks, which usually have income limits so that they can only go to low-income families.
To be eligible for the 2024 payment, applicants must have lived in Alaska during the 2023 calendar year and not have been away from the state for a long time unless they were in the military or going to school.
