Why Clemson Will Win

There is more good play from the Tigers.

They did almost everything right against Louisville last week, but they still lost by 12 points. The only thing it did not do well was stop the Cardinals’ running game. Last week, it went out and smashed Virginia Tech’s ground game.

Pitt does not have to worry about a strong running game. The stats are a little off because of a few big games early on.

They should try to get close to five yards per carry, but Clemson should be able to pull this off as long as they play their normal game and get turnovers and stops on third down.

Why Pitt Will Win

Do not mess up.

The Panthers have not had a lot of turnovers this season, but when they do happen, they are only 2-2. One game was a battle against Cal, and the other was against a bad Kent State team that was not going to win. The other two games were the ones that were lost.

The two times Clemson lost, it did not make the other team make a mistake.

It does not matter to the Panthers who has the ball at any given time. This means they need to score quickly and put pressure on the Tigers. It is not like Clemson is the favorite, but…
