Has Oregon had any interesting events lately?
It got its biggest win in a while—certainly the best in the time of Dan Lanning—by hanging on for a thrilling 32–31 win over Ohio State.
Now everything is in place to play for the Big Ten title, but it needs to happen quickly because they have games at Illinois and Michigan coming up.
It has been a terrible season for Purdue; it has yet to beat an FBS team. However, it made a great comeback against Illinois but lost 50-49 in OT.
Now it is time to build and put together the pieces for next year. But if the Boilermakers can do something amazing, the season will be made, and then some.

Why Oregon Will Win
It was a great time for the Ducks to step up their passing game.
In the first five games, they were not terrible, but against Ohio State, they pushed the ball further, gained 359 yards, and kept the chains going.
They will run the ball, though.
The only question now is whether Oregon will choose to become strong. They were stronger than Ohio State and gained five yards per run on average. They need to keep that up.
For the most part, Purdue has not been able to stop the run. The Ducks will easily go over 200 yards if they get to 40 runs.
Why Purdue Will Win
Did Ryan Browne, the quarterback, have something that Purdue liked?
Hudson Card did not play run defense, so it was not his fault that Purdue was so bad at first. But Browne gave the team a little boost when they were down against Illinois. Last week, he had almost 300 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.

It would not surprise me if Purdue got off to a good start while Oregon got over the Ohio State game. Then it would be all over for them.
They will hold on too long, the Duck lines will get stronger, and in the second half, the ground game will be the most important.
