There have been two weeks off for Virginia, so they should be ready to go. They also need to be able to win.
It had no problems with Coastal Carolina on its way to a 3-1 start, but now it has to play Louisville and then go to Clemson. From here on out, there is no break. The Cavaliers need to steal a home win somewhere.
Boston College bounced back from a loss to Missouri by beating Michigan State and Western Kentucky. However, the next two games are tough: they are at Virginia Tech on the road and this one.

Why Boston College Will Win
The Eagles got their player back.
It should not have been so hard for Boston College to beat Western Kentucky 21–20 last week. Grayson James threw the ball well, but he can not run. He only completed 59% of his passes and ran for 11 yards.
He missed the Hilltopper game because he was hurt, but Thomas Castellanos is back. After running for 73 yards against Florida State, he may not have run much since then, but it is there.
It has to do with the ground game. Boston College should get at least 35 runs and ideally 40. They should keep going. So far, no one has run more than 40 times against Virginia. This is in part because…
Why Virginia Will Win
The Cavaliers’ run defence has been great.
But no one has been able to mess things up like BC can with its running game. In any game, it has not given up more than four yards per carry. The Eagles will run a lot, but Missouri stuffed them and they lost.
In the win over Coastal Carolina, the Cavalier offence ran for almost 400 yards, and they will keep trying.
Boston College vs Virginia: Who Will Win
This is Virginia’s big time. It either won or tied three games it should have won, but lost the Maryland game it probably should have won.
The offence will not win third downs, Castellanos’s return will matter, and the turnover spread will matter. There is a chance to go 2-0 in ACC play and 4-1 overall. Boston College is going to be +2.
