After beating Kansas State badly in a strange 38–9 win, it is now a player in the Big 12 race. The next four games are terrible, but after a rough 2023, a 4-0 start is huge.

Really, what will Baylor be feeling after THAT?
What does BYU do so well? On third down, it is not very good, and the attack and ground game are not very good either.
It had three turnovers against Kansas State, the special teams have been great, and the offense is keeping the ball. It runs games and the clock and sometimes makes things move very slowly.
The lines are playing great, the secondary has been great, and the team just seems to have an IT factor.
It is been playing with a lot of swagger, and it showed on defense at SMU on the road and in every part of the game at home against Kansas State. But…

Overall, Baylor did a great job against Colorado. With one mistake in the secondary, they almost beat the Buffs and got the win.
The pass rush has been great so far, and Baylor is even better than BYU on special teams. Palmer Williams, the punter, is a weapon. The defense has also been great.
This week has been rough for the team because of the late meltdown in Boulder, but generally it is been good.
