Why Clemson Will Win

Florida State is not very good.

You can think about this in a psychological way all you want, but the team is not playing well.

On third downs, both the offence and defence are terrible. The passing game is not working at all, and the running game is one of the worst in the country.

The offence as a whole is only averaging 278 yards per game, and there are too many turnovers. The blocking and tackling are not strong, but other than that, the Seminoles are doing fine.

On the other hand, Clemson has been unbeatable since Georgia shut them down. The offence has scored 165 points in the last three games, an average of 55 points per game. This is due in large part to a line that gives everyone time to work. So…

Why Florida State Will Win

There is no longer any pressure.

No one thinks the Noles will do anything. There is not much talk about or promotion of the game on ESPN, and there is no real reason for Clemson to even show up.

Florida State is not good, but they have a lot of ability. There are things that can be done to get better quickly, but the team needs a boost.

But the Seminoles have mostly been in games. The game against SMU was a different story. They can not get that one drive, stop, or time to take over.

At first, it blasts off. Finally, try to get that running game going against a Clemson defence that took a beating from Stanford and let NC State score three times on the ground.
