Florida and head coach Billy Napier have had a terrible start. Since they had three home games to start the season, everything should have been fine.
They had a terrible defense against Miami, and they did not do much better against Texas A&M with a backup quarterback.
There are still a lot of games to look forward to, like at Texas, at Tennessee, at Ole Miss, and the Cocktail Party against Georgia. Plus LSU, at Florida State, UCF, and Kentucky.
The first few games for Mississippi State under head coach Jeff Lebby were rough. They lost badly to Arizona State and Toledo at home by scores of 41–17. Now they need a fun game because of what is coming up.

Is everything okay?
As a Florida Gator, it has not been fun, there is been no fun, and there is a sense of approaching doom.
But the passing game has been pretty good at times. Graham Mertz is still good when he gets the chance, and young DJ Lagway looked great when he had the chance. There is also something downfield that could work here.

Do you want to run? But last week, Texas A&M was able to line up and run for over 300 yards. This has been a problem for the Bulldogs the last two weeks.
When things are really bad at home, the goal is to make the offense keep the chains going. Florida can not stop the pass on third down and can not make a play on third down, so…

A few more things are wrong with Mississippi State than with Florida.
It is just the lines that make this hard. There is not any pass rush from the Bulldogs, and there is not any running game. Florida should be able to do a little more.
The Gators are bad when they have the ball, but Mississippi State is even worse.
They are both pretty dull, which will make for a fun game.
