Prediction, Game Preview, and Odds for Georgia Tech vs. Louisville

After a strong win over Florida State and a dominant showing against Georgia State, it looked like Georgia Tech was about to have a really big season. But on the road against Syracuse, it could not keep up.

Last week, it beat VMI, but now the ACC season has begun in earnest.

Louisville is only beginning. Is got off to a good start with wins over Austin Peay and Jacksonville State. After two weeks off, it is now relaxed.

The game is on. The ACC season starts, and then there is the big game at Notre Dame. That is the first of six road games in eight weeks.

Why Georgia Tech Will Win

Both Haynes King and the passing game are still great.

The offense may have slowed down a bit against Syracuse, and it had trouble until the end of the first game against Florida State. But so far, King has completed 76% of his passes, resulting in six scores and one interception.

Louisville has not been put to the test whatsoever.

When there were no defenses, the Cardinal attack could not be stopped. This year, the pass rush was so good that it recorded nine sacks in two games, and now it faces the No. 1 team in the country in sacks allowed.

Why Louisville Will Win

The attack for the Cardinals is really clicking.

It has not played anyone good yet, but that is the point of playing games outside of conferences. Tyler Shough, a quarterback in his sixth year, has been great so far. He has completed over ten passes without making a single major mistake.

He knows what is going on.

Georgia Tech lost to Syracuse. How did that happen? Kyle McCord was able to throw for 381 yards because the defense was not able to apply enough pressure.

This is going to be so much fun. It might not be as good as Louisville’s 39–34 win to start the season last year, but it might not be too far off.

The two teams will keep trading blows the whole game. The Louisville attack will mix things up, and in the second half, the Georgia Tech attack will make a strong comeback.
