With wins over Central Arkansas and Tulsa, Arkansas State had some fun. In Ann Arbour, they lost to Michigan 28–18, but they gave them a good game.

Why Arkansas State Will Win

It is getting a little more open thanks to the Red Wolves.

The lines played surprisingly well against Michigan, and the defence has been pretty good at making teams make mistakes and keeping games close. However, Jaylen Raynor and the passing game should really make this exciting.

ASU was still able to stay in the game even though Michigan was able to stop the drive after only 140 yards and no long shots.

Iowa State is having trouble on both sides of the ball on third downs, and it is only been two games. One of those games was against the Iowa defence.

Iowa made the Cyclone defence bend a bit, but it did not break all that much.

People have pushed the run defence, but Arkansas State does not grind. The Red Wolves only gain three yards per run on average, and they could not get going against Central Arkansas and Tulsa. They will not find their ground game here overnight.
