People all over the country love Miami, but it has not done much yet—letting Florida and USF move there is not really anything special.
It is important to beat Virginia Tech. After that, they have to go on the road to play Cal and Louisville, which are two very, very dangerous games.
The Hokies are having trouble. They lost games they could have won to Vanderbilt and Rutgers, and next week they have to go to the Bay Area to play Stanford. They need a win badly.

Miami (4-0), Virginia Tech (2-2)
Why Virginia Tech Will Win
It is not impossible for the Hokies to stop teams from throwing.
The run defence has been weak, and Rutgers threw too easily in key times last week. But the pass defence has been strong for the most part.
It gave up two touchdowns in the first game of the season, an OT loss to Vanderbilt. That is it for now.
The defence will do its job as long as it keeps Cam Ward from turning midrange passes into big plays. But…
Why Miami Will Win
The worry is with the other side of the ball.
Fans are really excited about Miami’s offence because of Ward and the strong offence, but the defence should be able to win the game.
When it comes to offence, the Hurricanes are great on third downs, and their pass rush gets the defence off the field really well.
Miami has been consistently getting four sacks per game, which is the most in the country. They should be able to keep that up against a Virginia Tech offensive line that lets too many plays happen behind the line.
Miami vs Virginia Tech: Who Will Win
What kind of weather will it be? There will be some wind because of the storm, but it should not be too bad by the time the game starts.
There is nothing wrong with Virginia Tech’s play; it just can not make big plays when it matters. These two teams were able to connect on too many plays, and that will be the case again.
Virginia Tech has lost two games in a row when they let teams get to 40% on third down conversions, and Miami will keep making plays to keep things moving.
