Before going on the road to play Oregon, Iowa, and Michigan, the Spartans have to beat Ohio State. They also have to win at Michigan.
Boston College has played great in its first three games under new coach Bill O’Brien. The next three games—at WKU, at Virginia, and at Virginia Tech—will be easier for them than the ones MSU has to face.
After a tough loss at Missouri, a win at home would put an end to the losing streak right away.

It is enough to stop runs.
Florida State and Duquesne were beaten badly by Boston College’s 565 running yards, but Missouri was able to attack and get to the plays before they started, and…..boom.
After getting off to a slow start, the Tigers held the Eagles to 49 yards on the ground in last week’s win.
So far, Michigan State has been good at stopping the run. It was fine against Florida Atlantic and Prairie View, but it was terrible against Maryland when they only gave up 86 yards in the big win two weeks ago.
Aidan Chiles, the very skilled and very young quarterback, needs to make up for his mistakes with big plays down the field, but…
Why Boston College Will Win
Chiles will miss some throws and do some other bad things now and then.
He is been more accurate since the first game against FAU, but Boston College will be able to stop them on third downs and force them to go for longer plays. It should also do well with its own passing attack.
On the ground, Bill O’Brien has been good so far, but quarterback Thomas Castellanos and the BC offense are making big plays down the field—he threw nine touchdowns in the first three games—but
