With a 66-7 win, Notre Dame took out its anger at Northern Illinois on the poor Boilermakers. This is the first of three road games in four weeks before they host Oregon.
Oh, and three of the last four games are away from home.
Oregon State had a rough game against Oregon (49–14), but they still have enough games to win to get into a bowl game. However, if they lose at home to Purdue, the rest of the season will be hard.

Why Purdue Will Win
It can not be worse than what they did to Notre Dame.
This team is much better than it was last week, when it played against a buzzsaw. To improve, they need to make better use of short yards.
Last week, Oregon State could not stop anything Oregon wanted to do, but Purdue does not have a Dillon Gabriel. It does have Hudson Card, who should be able to handle having a lot more time to work.
Oregon State does not rush the passer or get into the backfield, which means the offensive line for Purdue will have a better day. But…
Why Oregon State Will Win
The Beavers need to hit hard.
Yes, Oregon State’s running game is not as good as Notre Dame’s, but it beat San Diego State easily and had no issues against Idaho State.
The team’s ground attack was not bad against Oregon, but as the game went on, they had to rely ons more and more.
They ran 43 times against Purdue. The Irish were a little better than Notre Dame, which ran 44 times.

They will run at least 40 times, and if things go well, they might run 50 times.
However, Purdue will dink and dunk the whole game, with Card having a great game.
Oregon State will have the ball for over 35 minutes and will slow it down late in the game. It will be a much better day for Purdue.
