Prediction, Game Preview, and Odds for Texas vs. ULM

There is a lot of Arch Mania going on.

This week, Arch Manning will start for Texas while Quinn Ewers gets better. He will have two weeks to prepare for this game against a surprising ULM team.

The Warhawks’ new head coach, Bryant Vincent, has been a surprise so far. His team just beat his old team, UAB, which means Vincent should probably still be teaching that team.

Next week, Texas plays Mississippi State in the first game of SEC play. ULM starts its run in the Sun Belt at Troy.

Why ULM Will Win

The Warhawks are making the defense.

In the first two games, the pass rush has been great, there have been takeaways, and there have not been any mistakes. There is no beating the team.

Because they are putting pressure on defense and running the ball, ULM is really controlling the clock.

Even though Texas might score quickly, the Warhawks should be able to slow down the game or at least change the pace. But…

Why Texas Will Win

Things should get going early for the Arch Manning parade.

It is a quick attack that works well but is too fast for the ULM back seven.

Mandy needs to quickly look at everything. Right away, make the right read, hand the ball to his runner, and let them keep going.

It is not necessary to leave at this time, and there are no risks to be taken.

Manning may need to eat the ball every once in a while, which is fine. It will be fixed in the next play.

Texas vs ULM: Who Will Win

It looks like ULM has found ways to score after getting stuck in points in the first two games.

But the passing game is not strong enough, and the running game will not be fast enough to make a difference. And ULM will win the fight for time of possession. There should be some good times.
