Washington’s first game in the Big Ten is now a big deal.
That heartbreaking loss to Washington State on a goal line stand is the first of four games that it will play away from home. The next two are against Michigan and USC. Lose this, and things will get very, very bad from here on out.
Northwestern got some points on the board in a 31–7 win over Eastern Illinois. They would have been 3-0 if they had not lost to Duke in late overtime.
Next up is a tough game against Indiana, so winning this would mean a lot.
