Prediction, Game Preview, and Odds for Wisconsin vs. Purdue

Being desperate is not even close to telling the whole story of these two.

With a record of 1-3, Purdue is having trouble getting anything going on the plays. It played well in a 28–10 loss to Nebraska, but Notre Dame and Oregon State blew it out.

Why Purdue Will Win

It is not all bad news for the Boilermakers.

The pass rush has not been too bad, and the running game was great against Oregon State. The team needs some good luck right now.

Not only did Wisconsin have trouble in its last two games against top teams, but it also had trouble beating Western Michigan and South Dakota.

Why Wisconsin Will Win

It is not clear why the Badgers did not watch the film of Michigan’s game against USC.

How did the Wolverines beat the Trojans 27–24? 46 times, they ran. At some point, there was a break on the way to 290 yards and three scores. It took a while.

Wisconsin did okay on the ground against USC, but they only ran the ball 25 times before giving up.

In their last three games against FBS teams, they have given up 12 touchdowns and more than six yards per run. The Irish quickly figured this out and ran 44 times.
