You can not change the seeds after the first round. The winner from 5 to 12 plays the 4 seed, the winner from 6 to 11 plays the 3 seed, the winner from 7 to 10 plays the 2 seed, and the winner from 8 to 9 plays the 1 seed.
Keep in mind that the Big Ten winner will go to the Roe Bowl if it is possible, and the SEC champion will go to the Sugar Bowl.
