All people in the United States will be able to get a new Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) check in 2025 that is worth more.
From January of next year on, everyone who gets SSA benefits will see their payments go up by a certain amount. This will make the check we get more accurate when it comes to general price growth.
But the biggest check you can get from Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) will also go up, though not everyone will be able to get it.
The amount of each SSDI check will go up based on the amount of the current check. As a result, we think that each individual will get a pretty big check.
What will the COLA 2025 be for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)?
It will all depend on what the US government says this coming fall. Even though the official COLA number is not out yet, it looks like the raise will be 2.5%. Even though this is not a big raise, it looks like it will give you enough extra money each month to cover the RLA.

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) checks will increase as follows:
- SSDI maximum payment: will go from $3,822 per month to $3,914 per month.
- SSDI average check: from $1,480 per month to $1,517 per month.
Remember that the rise is different for each person because they receive a different amount of money.
The COLA has a direct effect, which means that all checks go up by 2.5%. Because of this, we can get an extra $2.5 a month for every $100 we get from Social Security Disability.
In one month, this COLA increase in Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) might not seem like a lot.
But when you add up all the money for the year, you will see that there is a big difference and the increase is bigger.
