A statement from the Social Security Administration says that millions of people will get their benefits and SSI check payouts early in November 2024.
As a planned move to make sure that users can get their money before Black Friday shopping on November 29, this change has been made.
People who get Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or who started getting benefits before May 1997 will get their payments on November 1, one day early.
SSI check payments will arrive earlier than expected in November
Because the normal payment date of November 3 comes on a weekend, this early payment is especially helpful.
The government hopes that by moving up the payment date, beneficiaries will have more financial freedom, which will let them plan and budget for the holidays.
SSI recipients will also see their payments moved to this earlier date, making sure that everyone who is qualified gets their money right away. The government has set other dates for payments to be made throughout the month besides the first installments in November.
Also, Social Security claimants and people who get Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) will get money on November 13, 20, and 27.
People whose birthdays are between the 1st and 10th of any given month will get their money on November 13.
People born between November 21 and November 31 will get their money on November 27. People born between November 11 and November 20 will get their money on November 20.

Millions of Americans will be able to afford the holidays better this year thanks to these early and structured funds.
The proactive scheduling by the Social Security Administration not only helps users keep track of their spending, but it also makes the importance of planning your finances ahead of time clear.
Also, remember that if your SSI check payments do not come on time, you should wait at least three mailing days before calling Social Security’s customer service. The delay could be caused by the way your bank processes the checks.

How much money will beneficiaries receive in their next SSI check payments?
According to the rules set by the Social Security Administration for this year, people who qualified for SSI checks could get an average of $698 per month. However, there are other payment amounts for single people and couples as well.
People who filed as individuals and met certain income requirements will get $973 a month, while couples will get up to $1,415 a month.
Additionally, people who meet the requirements for important person (EP) will receive an extra $472 each month as part of their benefits. In addition to SSI checks, the SSA will also give benefits to retirees, disabled people, and people who have lost a loved one.
Social Security payments | Retirement benefits | Survivors benefits | Disability benefits |

In case you forgot, these payment amounts already include the 3.4% rise from this year’s cost of living adjustment (COLA), which was just updated for 2025.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics just released new data showing that the new COLA for next year will be 2.5%. This means that all people will get this increase starting in January 2025.
This means that this year’s raise will not be added to Social Security benefits or SSI checks sent out in November and December. Because of this new raise, the average payment for all beneficiaries will go up by the following amount next year:

Retired Workers | $1,900 | $1,948 | $48 |
