In October, payments like SSI from the Federal Government are already planned. Next, the Social Security Administration will send a new check or direct deposit for retirees and people who get SSDI (disability insurance), but not for people who get SSI.
There’s a good chance that your last Social Security payment will come in September if you haven’t already. So, make sure you remember when the important bills are due.
Social Security retirement and SSDI payments left in September, then SSI checks
People who are retired and meet all the standards will be able to get money from Social Security on September 25. Some people who get SSDI may also be able to get this paycheck.
Don’t forget that you need to say your birthday in order to get money from SSA on September 25. Your next check will be sent on the 25th if you were born between the 21st and the 31st. These people will get their October payment on October 23rd.
If you were not born after August 20, your next Social Security payment, such as an SSDI or retirement benefit, will come in October. People who get SSI also have to wait until the first of October to get their direct payment or check.
