The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has stated the next payments that will be made in Texas and who is eligible for them. Remember that because there are so many people who get food stamps through SNAP, not everyone gets them on the same day.
All SNAP users in the 48 states that are adjacent to each other are limited to these amounts. If you live with eight people, you can get up to $1,756. A family of four can get up to $975.
SNAP payments are left in Texas until October 15
If you were approved before June 1, 2020, these are the checks you will be getting soon. The last two numbers of the eligibility decision group are used in Texas.
That is your EDG. If it ends in 5, you will get your food stamps on October 9. On the 11th, people whose EDGs end in 6 will get money.
When you pay for SNAP on October 12, your EDG must end in 7. People in Texas who get food stamps and whose EDGs end in 8 will get money on their EBT cards on October 13.
The final SNAP payment for individuals who were certified before June 1, 2020 will be on the 15th, however, your EDG must end in 9. If you were certified after June 1, 2020, please refer to the payment list below.
SNAP payments in Texas through October 28
If you get money from SNAP on October 27 or 28, be careful because there could be up to 3 different paydays. Read it all the way through:

- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 04-06 = Food Stamps available on the 17th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 07-10 = Food Stamps available on the 18th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 11-13 = Food Stamps available on the 19th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 14-17 = Food Stamps available on the 20th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 18-20 = Food Stamps available on the 21st of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 21-24 = Food Stamps available on the 22nd of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 25-27 = Food Stamps available on the 23rd of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 28-31 = Food Stamps available on the 24th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 32-34 = Food Stamps available on the 25th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 35-38 = Food Stamps available on the 26th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 39-41 = Food Stamps available on the 27th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 42-45 = Food Stamps available on the 28th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 46-49 = Food Stamps available on the 27th of October
