The podcast host expresses solid opinions on Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift’s friendship.

Taylor Strecker, the host of the Taste of Taylor podcast, voiced her perspective on Taylor Swift’s friendship with Brittany Mahomes.

The self-proclaimed Swiftie has created controversy by stating that Brittany, 29, isn’t “worthy” of her friendship with Swift, 34, as she disclosed to Page Six in an article on Monday, November 18. Strecker, 41, revealed strong feelings about the chemistry between the two pals, telling the source she has been “very passionate” about examining their friendship.

Strecker went on to share her opinions regarding Brittany’s status among the 14-time Grammy winners, saying, “I personally feel like she does not deserve it.” Strecker stressed that she was not explicitly addressing the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and that she feels “unworthy” of a friendship with Swift herself.

She reiterated her point by mentioning Swift’s “fabulous queens” such as Blake Lively and Sophie Turner, whom she believes Brittany should avoid. “She’s just so normal…” What exactly are you doing at a meal with Blake Lively and Sophie Turner? Strecker let out an exclamation. “It just gets me crazy angry. I can’t even see clearly.”

Swift’s connection with Brittany intensified in 2023, when she began dating Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. Kelce is teammates with Brittany’s husband, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and they are also pals off the field. Swift and Brittany have been seen cheering for their partners in the stands, as well as attending other dinners and parties together over the last year.

Strecker was not finished there, however. She doubled down and attacked Brittany’s fashion choices, stating that they appear to be intended to anger her personally and that she hopes they don’t rub off on Swift. “Everything she wears, it’s like she’s trying to infuriate me specifically,” said the woman.

Despite her opinions on the friendship, Strecker expressed her support for Swift and Kelce as a couple, stating she is “100 percent” convinced they’ll get engaged.

A proud Texanized Wisconsinite, I have been a life-long fan of the Wisconsin Badgers. I have been writing since I was in high school and formerly owned a podcast of my own. I went to school under the University of Houston system, majoring in accounting and business management. When people ask me about my mental toughness, I tell them Tanner McEvoy was the starting QB at my first Badgers game.
