When October comes around, the USDA will add a COLA to SNAP Food Stamp payouts. This will give people who get them a little extra money.
It is true, though, that the COLA for this benefit does not look like it is very big. No matter what, we should be able to easily get a new SNAP Food Stamp check in October.
We can see when our state will be giving out SNAP Food Stamps by looking at the calendar. Checks for these benefits arrive on different days in each state.
This is not like Social Security, where the date you can collect depends on when you retired or your birthday.

Pay close attention to the payment plan. Some states send checks out earlier than others. But that is not the only thing you should think about while you wait for your SNAP Food Stamps check.
Not only that, but we also need to know what our internal schedule is. This means that, based on the state, we might be able to get the money on October 1 or much later, depending on the rules inside the state.
