There will be some groups in the United States that will not be able to get their monthly Social Security check on September 25. Because you are in these groups, you will not be able to get the money today.

People over the age of 62 who will not get their September 25th Social Security check are:

• Those with a Social Security benefit from before May 1997.
• Retirees with a post-May 1997 check with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of any month.
• Retirees with a check after May 1997 with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of any month.

So, there are two things we need to do in order to get our September 25th Social Security check. The first one is to have a check from after May 1997. And finally, your birthday must fall between the 21st and 31st of any month.

Anyone who is retired can get this payment, so people who are disabled, old, or retired for some other reason will all be able to get a check.
