Every month, people who are qualified in the United States get SNAP Food Stamps benefits. Things will be a little different in October, though, because the amount we get will change.
So, the COLA will have an effect on SNAP Food Stamps payments, making the checks that qualified people get a little bigger. Everyone in the United States who gets this accepted benefit will be able to enjoy the raise. There is no getting around it.
We do not know the exact amount of the raise yet because the COLA has not been released.
Still, many Americans who are already getting this benefit will be able to enjoy the October payment when it comes out at the beginning of the month. We can tell when we will get the money just by looking at the calendar.
