The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has revealed when the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will pay out in October. These payments will include a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) increase for 2025. The goal of this change is to help low-income families deal with rising prices.
In October, people who get Food Stamps will get their checks from different states. Notably, some states will send payments over the course of several days or weeks, while Alaska, Vermont, Rhode Island, and North Dakota will send all of their payments on the same day.
