The college football season is officially over… ugh. As we know, the offseason is a long, dreadful walk filled with sighs and an obscene amount of boredom. It’s truly an unmitigated disaster… So that’s why I waited for the season to end to bring you some of my favorite memes from the regular season. Let us cherish these moments and never forget them. As always, I am NoContextCFB and while I’m sad right now, I’m happy to show you these 15 memes. Enjoy.

New name meme just dropped. There’s Moore Pickle in Manhattan.

15. Targeting on the Ref

Is… Is… Is that a dead body?! This ref just straight up ASSAULTED a player and for what reason??? This flop was top tier and I love that Martrell Harris Jr. played dead for a good half second or so. To do this in the heat of a massive game with just minutes remaining is spectacular. Seeing this just puts a smile on your face. Kids will be kids.

14. Drone Delay

This was without a doubt my favorite meme of Week 4 and was a serious Meme of the Year contender! The drone delay during the Stanford vs. Washington game was unbelievable! Seeing refs and players pointing to the sky as if they’ve spotted a UFO was just amazing content. This was pure #Pac12AfterDark! Was this an all-time Pac-12 moment?

13. TIMBER

This was just flat out RUDE! The police officer knocks down this super cool and googly-eyed tree and doesn’t fix it! ASSAULT! Stanford was already getting decimated by Oregon in this game. There was no reason this poor little tree needed to be tossed around like the Stanford defense.

12. Punch-Out!! The Mascot Edition

I need… I so badly need someone to commentate this fight like a heavyweight title is on the line. Sparky the Sun Devil is laying MASSIVE blows to Wilbur Wildcat! Mascot beef is the best beef.

11. One Pump Too Many

UC Davis QB Trent Tompkins is playing in the NFL. The No Fun League. My dude really taunts the defender (who tries throwing Trent well after the play for some reason) and then channels his inner Michael Jackson. Much like the famous “Key & Peele” sketch, the ref instantly flagged Tompkins once he saw that Hingle McCringleberry pump. Tompkins also took to Twitter and said, “Guess you could say the ref was not my lover.”

10. What’s the Spider-Man Meme?

We all LOVE Gus Johnson. The guy is an icon. Now how funny has it been to see Gus react to things such as TikTok, Twitter, and memes? Joel Klatt having to explain the Spider-Man meme to Gus had me dying!

9. Talk To Me Dirty Corn Dogs

This was just one of those moments that makes us all even prouder to be such big college football fans. Where else is THIS happening??

7. The Worst Griddy of ALL TIME

The griddy to end all griddies. Josh Whyle performed the absolute worst griddy in the world. Robert Griffin III was DISGUSTED and in another clip says “That griddy was so unseasoned, I didn’t know what do with it.”

6. N̶o̶  Fly Zone

I just wonder what Chandler Rivers was thinking in this moment. This is just FRIGHTENING! Credit to Jeff Gamza (@jgamza) who captured this remarkable picture.

5. DO… WHAT???

You heard that right. We all heard that. “Just eat it. Put your favorite condom on… uh… condiment on that football and eat it.” POSSIBLY THE COMMENTATOR CLIP OF THE YEAR HAPPENED IN WEEK ZERO. I have no other words. I have nothing to say. I just know I won’t be putting my favorite condo… condiment on that football.

4. Football Guys

What’s better than this? Just guys being dudes and playing some good ole fashioned football.

3. How Much?

I can’t even believe this image actually exists. This is so very real. A girl showed up to the Tennessee vs. Georgia game and really chose to wear a shirt that said “Kirby Can’t Afford This HOOKER.” WHAT??! WHAT EVEN ARE COLLEGE FOOTBALL FANS?? It ended up being a very forgetful afternoon for this Hooker and Hendon. This meme will live forever, and for that we thank this mysterious lady.

2. Eaton Booty

Everybody loves when some players line up their jerseys (on purpose or accident) and create a hilarious meme. Oklahoma’s Joshua Eaton and fan favorite General Booty created an all-timer.

James Droz is a TikTok superstar that has absolutely taken over social media in 2022. Following Oklahoma’s victory in Bedlam… the Sooners collaborated with James and delivered the greatest video of the year. Oklahoma State… WHAT HAPPENDUHHH!?!?
